This week I read At the Edge of the Universe by Shaun David Hutchinson. I originally picked it up because it was gay (I mean who doesn't love a good Gay book), but I stayed around for the mystery. Ozzie woke up one morning and his boyfriend was not on;y missing, but no one remembered him. Instead of moping around and giving in like I certainly would've, he gets up and tries to fix it. He questions everything, and when he finds out the world is shrinking on top of it all, he questions the idea of that too. When the sun disappears, and the rest of the world doesn;t question it, he does. That is one of my favorite parts of this book. Ozzie questions how they all aren't freezing to death, whereas most other books that I have read wouldn't even address the problem. on top of all of the reality oof the book, there is ann astounding plot line about a boy who just wants to wake up and everything be back the way t was before it all started crumbling around him, and won't s...

Hello, Lovelies! Just thought I would tell you about the cutest covers I found for the three Harry Potter companion books Quidditch through the ages, Tales of Beetle the Bard, and Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find them (not the screenplay, the original "textbook" of sorts). I found the covers at Sam's club ( a Costco-like store if you aren't from my area) and immediately picked up the Fantastic beasts one for ~$9. Now this was a great price, and I'm Definitely not complaining, but I do wish I had Amazoned them sooner, as you can get the box set of all three on amazon for $23! That is a great price considering it would be almost $30 individually and I might end up using the one I bought as a birthday present just so I can buy the box set! I'll link where I found them on Amazon below! Cutest covers box set Wands at the ready, and Keep Reading! Update: The ones I found on amazon are paperbacks, whereas the ones at sams club are hardcovers, So if you have ...

So this week I read Uglies by Scott Westerfeld and my first, and only, criticism is the cover. Why is the author's name bigger than the title of the book? This is not all about you, it's all about your book. I know that this is the original cover and that another on has come out since then, but still, when I first looked at this book, I could not tell what the title was! other than that one pet peeve, I loved this book. I had judged it pretty hard in grade school, and only revisited it now after some encouragement from a dear friend, and it's not a decision I will ever regret. This was not, as I thought in my grade school years, a book about a stupid girl who just wants to be pretty like all her friends and is willing to get surgery to do so (well it kinda is but it is so much more than that) This is a story about a strong girl who is willing to do anything if it means the safety of her friends, even if she doesn't realize it at first. Tally is a great role model, and...

So, Clearly, I'm not real good with the whole schedule thing. I just finished At The Edge Of the Universe by Shaun David Hutchinson and loved it. That review should go up next week, and I have started the second of the Lunar Chronicles, Scarlet, by Marissa Meyers (which I am TOTALLY in love with. It's been like three days and I am just tearing through this book, whose review should be up soon) so all is going well in the reading world. If you scroll down, I'll go ahead and post the review I was supposed to put up on Wednesday (sorry lovelies) and let you hear my opinions on Uglies by Scott Westerfield! Have a lovely rest of your day, and keep reading!

I plan to post every Wednesday, so I'll see you then, and if you would like an email every time I post, scroll down to be added to the list! Thanks for following, and keep reading!
